I started the latest chronicle here. It's been about two and a half months since I started trying to eat cleanly and lift heavy things.
Guys. It works. I still have my occasional moments of eating a pazookie (who wouldn't?!!) and yes, a few weeks ago I ate some Pizza Hut and an obscene amount of quepapas. Oh.My. God. The quepapas. I just discovered them (I know) and I am in love. Pretty sure they are gluten free, so there's that.
But for the most part, and definitely during week days, I am eating well and staying away from grains.
And my partner is being my trainer (since Gold's Gym training was too much cash money, yo). He's been pretty decent since he doesn't listen to my whiny ass when I am like, "STOP. I can't dooooo iiiiiit." He basically answers, "Do three more." Ugh, he's such a jerk, you guys. But without that, I would never be getting the results I am. Thank the gods for him. Truly.
I took some sad shots in my pajamas to show you (sans makeup even!) how I have slimmed and developed some tone.
Sorry that last one was a LOT of my wall (pretty color, no?) and less of me but that's an awkward shot to get.
I wore the obligatory slutty Halloween costume last weekend and I think I kind of rocked it. Go me and my muscles!
(sorry it's so small and fuzzy)
And here is a picture from our recent anniversary and even though you can't really see my body, you can tell from my face that I have dropped some weight. And by weight I mean fat. I am actually up by three pounds in overall weight. But it's muscle.
I'm feeling good about this. On top of it all, I had another appointment with my endo and my insulin and thyroid numbers are in healthy ranges and I am able to stay off medication still. He said the diet and the activity is doing it.
Go me!
