Don't let that title fool you. It's not about the hubs being boring, but about another IM post (that's two in a row. <faints> <recovers>).
So for those of you who know about the inner workings of my life (and oh, it's a sizzling, fabulous, fashionista-worthy life, let me tell you), you would be familiar with the recent drama of my hubs applying for a job at a very high-profile company. He's been through a ton (literally) of interviews in the past month and he's just awaiting the call or email with the offer. There's no doubt in my mind that he will get it. I believe in him that much. I really do. Let me digress? He's an amazingly gifted programmer and he's got above-average people skills, and in the programming world that means he's a veritable social butterfly. On crack.
So I can't help but share in his anxiety/excitement. I think I text or IM him every few hours to get any updates. And he repeatedly tells me: If there are any updates, believe me, you would know!
And I would. But it doesn't stop my texting mania. In fact just an hour ago, we had this conversation:
Me: i feel like i should email their HR
Me: like look ppl cant you get an offer letter together in a week? what's wrong with you?
Me: you're making a massive MMORPG? pish posh, that's nuthin!
Him: massive is what the first M stands for, noob
Him: so you just said massive massively multiplayer online role playing game
Me: its THAT big
*Note: That picture above is probably one of the best pictures ever on the WWW. It's why it was invented. <hugs Internet!>
Okay I have to add this - when my husband saw this post he IMs me this...
Him: ALL YOU DO IS BLOG EVERYTHING I SAY
Him: BECAUSE
Him: I'm
Him: HILARIOUS
